Starting July 1, the EU is introducing an additional duty of €3 for each line item in the invoice for shipments valued under €150, regardless of whether VAT (IOSS) was paid at the time of sale or not.

What this means for SkladUSA clients:

• If VAT (IOSS) is paid: When creating a consolidation order to the EU or an express shipment in the SkladUSA system, the duty will be charged automatically at $3.60 for each unique item listed in the invoice.
• If VAT (IOSS) is not paid (sales made outside of marketplaces): The duty will be included in the customs clearance invoice issued directly to the recipient.

Shipments valued at €150 and above will be cleared at the standard rate, without the additional €3 per line item.

These customs changes do not apply to shipping goods to the warehouse in Lodz. Customs clearance for warehouse freight will follow the usual rates.
